A wedge plate is a prism with an inclined surface, typically made of optical glass (such as H-K9L/N-BK7) or other materials (e.g., UV fused silica JGS1, IR fused silica JGS3). It deflects the incident beam toward the thicker side, enabling beam offset or adjustment.
